1. The service
OptiApply is run by Burak Kelleroglu (contact details in the privacy policy). It helps you find jobs, track applications and tailor resumes and cover letters with AI. The service is free. Voluntary donations do not create any claim to features or support.
2. Your account
You need an account to use the service. Keep your sign-in details private and give accurate information. You may delete your account at any time in the settings.
3. Fair use
- Use the service for your own job search only.
- Do not upload content you have no right to use, or content that is unlawful.
- Do not try to break, overload or get around the service's limits, including the AI usage limits, and do not access it with automated tools other than the official browser extension.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
4. AI results
Resumes, cover letters, answers and scores produced with AI can be wrong or incomplete. Check every result before you send it. You are responsible for what you submit to employers. Do not let the service claim experience or qualifications you do not have.
5. Job listings
Job listings come from third-party job boards. We do not guarantee that they are accurate, complete or still open, and we are not party to any application or employment relationship.
6. Your content
Your resumes and other content remain yours. You allow us to store and process them only as needed to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available but cannot guarantee it. Features may change or be discontinued. We will announce material changes to these terms in the app before they apply.
8. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of service. Otherwise our liability is excluded.
9. Law
German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live remain unaffected.
